Capel Newydd has around 150 members and is part of Gwendraeth Pastorate, under the care of Reverend Emyr Williams. There is a service at 2pm on the first Sunday of the month and 6pm on other Sundays. There is a Sunday school every Sunday at 10:30am. The Society meets at 7:15pm on Thursdays during the winter.

We hold several meetings jointly with other local churches, including week for Christian Unity in January and meetings during Lent.
