Churches

The Presbyterian Church of Wales is one of the largest Christian denominations in Wales, with some 20,000 members and around 600 churches.

To find out more about our churches and where they are located please click here for a map.

We do have a few redundant churches that are currently available for sale. The properties are usually offered freehold with certain restrictions upon future use and further information can be obtained from the appointed selling agent. A bilingual church in Cricieth Eifionydd. The town’s Presbyterians and Congregationalists worship together here.

A Welsh language service is held at 10.00 followed by an English language service at 11.15 every Sunday morning.

We have a lively Children’s Sunday Club which meets at 10.00 every Sunday morning during term time.

We are strong believers in societies and a number of activities are arranged in the Church’s name, with a welcome for everyone to join us (click on the Newsletter for more information about these activities)

Capel y Traeth is the only Welsh language church in Cricieth with the members of Jerusalem Church worshipping alongside us since 2014.

Every year we attempt to raise significant money for others in our community and for those in need throughout the world.

The Children’s Eisteddfod is held in the Vestry every Spring with local children having an opportunity to compete and gain confidence by taking part in events on the stage.
