Kenchester is a hamlet on the outskirts of Hereford. This chapel was built in 1830 as a result of Frances Isabella, Baroness Southampton. She was influenced by Wesley and hoped to improve the condition of the poor by setting up two chapels with schools attached at Kenchester and Breinton.
