Nasareth is the ‘Mother Church’ in Penrhyndeudraeth, dating back to 1777.

Regular services are held every Sunday, with both children and adults’ Sunday schools in the afternoon. The Literary Society meets fortnightly between November and March. There is a Preaching Meeting on the second Sunday in June, a Prayer Meeting at the beginning of the year and special services at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.

A monthly united service is in each of Penrhyn’s three churches in turn. An annual Women’s World Prayer day meeting is held with the other churches, along with a Praise Service on the first Sunday in May and a united Carol Service at Christmas. The churches of Penrhyn organise a Christian Aid collection every year.
