Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of adversity come and the years approach of which you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”

Father God.

This month we especially think about young people, in particular those waiting for exam results.

We pray for the individuals that are worried about getting the grades they need to move on to the next stage.  We pray for those who are anxious and uncertain about their future.

Help them remember the words of Psalm 139 which says that ‘All the days ordained for each of us were written in your book before one of them came to be’.

Following a year when our young people have faced unprecedented times, missing months of school, and learning from home or online, we pray that they get the encouragement and inspiration that they need from your Word.  Thank you for the Bible, somewhere we can turn to for guidance in any situation and any time in our lives.

We thank you that whatever the uncertainty ahead, you have commanded us to be strong and courageous. Not to be afraid; or discouraged, and that you have promised to be with us wherever you go.  Thank you for being such a loving, kind father.

In all the uncertainty facing us today, thank you for the knowledge that if we trust in you with all our heart and our ways submit, you will set our paths straight. We praise you for being the Almighty who created heaven and earth and has all of time in the palm of your hand yet you are so close and loving that you listen to each individual prayer.

We thank you for listening to all the prayers of our young people and commit their future to your loving and safe hands.

“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
